At Ipsum, we provide specialist power, water, infrastructure and technology driven support services to utility companies and private sector businesses.

We have successfully unified several smaller businesses, which each held their own expertise to create a truly specialist utilities and infrastructure platform.  With regional office locations and national coverage across the UK we help our customers maintain, improve and develop their critical infrastructure assets. 

Population growth, rising energy prices and climate change have seen power and water consumption rapidly grow. Government and industry regulators are therefore tasked with reducing waste and conserving an increasingly sparse resource, whilst also protecting consumers from rising utility prices.

This is why we created Ipsum.Live. An innovative, cloud-based data management system that stores key data about our customers' asset condition. Our various methods of survey and maintenance capabilities provide our users with a detailed understanding of the condition of their assets. This enables them to make informed decisions on network maintenance and asset upgrade projects.

We understand that when a repair is required or an emergency occurs, our customers need to be back in business as soon and as safely possible. At Ipsum we act as a one stop shop to meet all our customer requirements. 

Our power division offers a range of low, high & extra high voltage infrastructure support services. From switchgear upgrades, transformer replacements, network diversions to substation builds/ refurbishments and overhead line activities.

Our Water division ensures that wastewater networks are maintained and working. We have a range of specialist vehicles that offer high pressure water jetting and vacuumation services. They also provide pipeline CIPP lining, drainage rehabilitation, tanks emptying, specialist waste removal, flood prevention & network risk analysis.

Infrastructure network resilience does not last forever and must be replaced on a programmed basis for health, environmental and capacity reasons. From the initial design to installation and aftercare, we support our customers with a range of services. Not only do we design electrical distribution networks but we also provide new connections on major projects, battery installations and whole life costing critical transformer replacements.
