As part of a strategy addressing the concerns of the ongoing climate emergency and its impact on wildlife, Durham Wildlife Trust is expecting to engage 1 in 4 people with wildlife by 2030.

This daily dash is taking place at Newcastle Racecourse 11 July

Although ambitious, this number is the minimum threshold of engagement needed to create a tipping point for nature.

To address this challenge, this creative dash will explore how Durham Wildlife Trust can support people to engage with the wildlife that surrounds them at home, at work, and in the many places they love.

After building an understanding of the challenge, we will explore ways to reach out, engage and empower individuals and communities to take meaningful action for nature and the climate.

We will then rapidly develop solutions and build prototypes and roadmaps to support the implementation of these solutions post-Innovation Festival and make a positive and sustainable change for the planet.
